The Boys and Girls Club of Somerset County is a fantastic organization that provides a valuable and necessary service to our community's youth. You can become a part of the magic that is the Boys and Girls Club in a variety of ways.

 

 

Spending an afternoon or a month of afternoons at either of the Boys and Girls Club centers is a rewarding way to spend your time. We are always looking for extra sets of eyes and hands to give more attention to our members during daily homework time. It is simple to spend an hour helping a child with a homework problem or listening to a group of children read.

 

 

Do you have a special hobby or talent you would like to share with others? Spend some time at the Boys and Girls Club teaching the children about something you really enjoy doing. Past volunteers have taught our members the art of Scherenschnitte (paper-cutting), photography basics, and how to prepare healthy snacks.

 

 

As a non-profit, the Boys and Girls Club always welcomes donations. Monetary donations are appreciated as they help us to meet our operating costs. Donations of healthy snacks help us to ensure that our members will have something good to eat to fuel them through homework hour. We also accept donations of arts and crafts supplies, outdoor toys (balls, jump ropes, etc.), cleaning supplies, etc.
